Thanks for all your input guys, the fault turned out to be the lmmersion/element, even though it wasn’t being used, suspected earth leakage going through the neutral, during fault finding if he disconnected the earth on the immersion the fault still happened but when he disconnected the neutral...

Hi, when I switch it on it lights brightly and fully then after 5 mins it goes completely out, no glowing or flickering

Anyone know about the light attached? It’s been lying in the loft for years and I decided to fit it in the shed today, the light will stay on for about 5 mins then go out, by the model numbers can you say if it’s a sensor light and should be acting as above or should it stay on when powered? I’ve had this before and a non return valve fitted on the cold inlet pipe work to the Combi sorted it, the boiler would fire when the toilet was flushed

Try holding the menu button and the return button at the same time, do this for ten seconds and factory reset should appear. Ps remember you have a grey button on the receiver which will override the command and get you’re heating up and running.

Is the hot water programmed? If it is put it to 24hr/all day

If it's working with the link in I'd suspect the receiver is not switching between 1 & 3 Too slow again, lol
