    Macerators

Actually you have a good point. Several sites say that the Turbo Flush has been replaced by WaterEasy" which they claim to be a Saniflo product. Looking on the official Saniflo website at current proiducts, there is no trace of WaterEasy, but then Turbo Flush doesn't appear either. Confusing -...

    Macerators

Thanks for that. Actually I found one quite a bit cheaper than Screwfix: http://www.buyaparcel.com/p/macerators-and-pumps/turboflush-watereasy-500w-macerator-pump-t11-for-wc-toilet-and-basin-the/ I presume that the drain option is for draining down in case of blockage, or for maintenance?

    Any recommendation on which manufacturer?

A good point, I will take care in siting. I have space behind the toilet outside the wall where access will be easy.

    Macerators

I don't have a problem with 'strong views, but insinuating that I'm a ******** is not acceptable. There is unlikely to be a problem with foreign objects as the loo will be in my 'domain' and the only other person likely to use it is my wife who has no need of 'foreign objects'. :) The...

No big deal apart from the inconvenience (pardon the pun). I've dealt with worse and I have a very good respirator!

    Macerators

No, due to the amount of total disruption to the ground floor toilet which leads directly into the soil pipe with a bend, not a tee. There is no vent pipe, or it would be easy. The properties were built with every other one having an inspection chamber and the neighbouring property leading into...

    Macerators

I'm about to install a macerator in a small toilet in a loft conversion. It needs to take waste from the WC and from a small basin. I need to ensure that noise is kept to a minimum, but power is not especially important as the device will only need to pump horizontally for 2-3 metres, then...

    Central heating - possible blockage

In all the years of owning the boiler I had not realised there was a pump speed control and I don't ever remember seeing it in the installation manual. However it's on the side of the pump and is set to "3". :) I'll try to tackle the TRVs today.

    Central heating - possible blockage

I did try turning the other rads off but I can't get to the plinth heater without dismantling half the kitchen! I wasn't aware of a pump setting on the boiler, or do you mean the user heat control on the front lower panel? I'll look into that. I will have another go at the radiator TRV but...

    Central heating - possible blockage

Hi. I have a central heating system that I installed over 10 years ago. It consist of an Alpha Ocean Combi Boiler 4 double radiators, 1 towel radiator, 1 plinth heater and I later added HEP2O underfloor heating to the conservatory, all on the ground floor. The main flow and return are 22mm...
