All I did was turn down the inlet valve. :shock: Turned it back to full. Problem is back....

This boiler is pretty old over 20 years but has been maintained well and several parts have been replaced over the years. Current problem is that it takes several attempts to light and once it has it won't stay alight. :cry: When I turn it on CH or DHW it takes 20 or so ignition attempts...

hi guys, I want to replace my fuel filter. I am having trouble removing the piping and freeing the old fuel filter. The rubber pipes are being very difficult and are not budging. Any ideas anyone?

thanks for your prompt reply. I will look out for that gauze filter. About the boiler silencer chemicals, before I changed my main HE i used Sentinel X200. Its supposed to be safe, and did work within 2 hours. Noise was reduced but then, probably due to major scale, the HE started leaking...
