I've got a nice light in the living room which uses 8x10w G4 bulb. I wanted it to be brighter and bought 20w light bulb which was clearly against what was adviced and within 10mins the whole light stopped working.
I read up a little and decided to salvage the light with a new transformer but...
I have unscrewed the screws below but I can't seem to pull it out. previously I broke too suction pads to get them out and am not keen to repeat the process. Furthermore the foam inside is even harder to take out. Maybe you can advise me over the "proper" way to get the panel out. Thanks !
I have just tiled my bathtub walls and sealed the side with some silicon, how do I check if there is any leak. The bath panel will not open and I am a little worried about using the shower and subsequently discovering a leak too late. If its leaking a little only, will this cause some problems...
Thanks for all the answers. I realise now that the plastic bit is a bath trim. Where do you put your silicon caulk then if its a bath trim ?. But regardless, I have put the caulk strip over the trim and covering the tile and the bath. Its a little unsightly but I hope it will last a few years...
the bath initially had a plastic bit which curled downward to the bath however with time, a small hole developed between them and the bath. I tried silicon sealant on them but i think the gap is too big and it makes the area messy hence my choice for a caulking strip.
I hope it will at least...
i would have prefered silicon caulk but the developer used this plastic bit which curled outward and downward. The bath has sunk a little and there is a reasonably large gap which I think will be difficult to cover with the silicon, but given that I have now placed a caulking strip, will that be...
I have just finished tiling the bathroom and would like some advice about caulking over where the tiles meet the bathtub.
I bought the caulking strip from focus and basically just stick them on the tiles and then the bath. My concern is that in between the tiles (grout line) there is a small...
