Anyone Help Identifying This Electrical Connector/Coupler?

Ok, the pump only comes on when the boiler fires < my point was that I thought we had got through a lot of pumps and valves because my CH was on more often than the standard household - rather than us buying cheap pumps and/or valves. Installing a new pump or valve is not a big deal as long as...

Siemens Cylinder Thermostat Faulty? Testing Advice?

Its set at about 80% (approx 8KW), but that should be enough to heat 100L of water to 80 deg in 1 hour, HW is set for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening. My thinking is this: If I turn the dial up to maximum (90degs - all dangers aside), the cylinder stat should continuously call...

Anyone Help Identifying This Electrical Connector/Coupler?

Yes every day, 24/7/365 - In the summer the temperature rarely dips enough to trigger the thermostat, but it is on - just in case. The Other Half is very temperature sensitive...

Not sure, its a Gloworm Fuelsaver Mk2 - the manual says 15.2 L/min > but thats the flow rate through the boiler.

Ok, Central Heating is permanently on, with an electronic stat that allows for a day and separate night temperature setting.

Siemens Cylinder Thermostat Faulty? Testing Advice?

If turned down to 40, the Stat will heat the water to 40 degrees, ending the call for heat. RE Showering: It is a gravity fed shower with a Showerforce Pump < hotter water meaning more showering time (but this is a whole different topic).

My mistake, pumps weren't the cheapest but the fastest available - so they weren't researched. We're on our second Grundfos at the mo, can't remember the others. Our CH runs 24/7 < I always thought this was the cause of the pump failures than any particular pump brand issue.

Siemens Cylinder Thermostat Faulty? Testing Advice?

I agree, but it should still be sending a 'call for heat' as it has not reached 80 degrees yet and it stops at 65 degrees. Not really, I turn the stat down from 80 to 60 to see what the stat thinks the temperature is - it should be 80 but the stat thinks its 60-65 and clicks to call for heat...

Siemens Cylinder Thermostat Faulty? Testing Advice?

Sorry, I wasn't clear. This is about the Cylinder Stat (boiler is working fine) In normal operation, when the Cylinder Stat reaches temperature there is an audible click from it (the Cylinder Stat) and the boiler stops heating the water (or the Y Plan switches to CH Only) I have set the...

No, why do you ask - I really want the same one, because I have mild OCD.

Siemens Cylinder Thermostat Faulty? Testing Advice?

Hello Peeps, I have the following Cylinder Stat on my HW Tank: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Siemens-RAM1-Cylinder-Pipe-Thermostat/dp/B00BJ721PA But even though I have it set for 80 degrees, it cuts out at around 60-65. Is there a maximum set on these for safety, or is it faulty - is there a way...

Thanks, so this is a Light Control Module connector - is there a high street equivalent?, I checked the usual suspects - B&Q, Screwfix, Wickes, etc

Anyone Help Identifying This Electrical Connector/Coupler?

Hello All, Here is a picture of an electrical connector which sits between my central heating pump and the wiring, a good way of swapping it in case of failure. There's another one on the 3 Valve as well. Top marks to the installer! I want to put one of these on the HW Cylinder stat as...
