combo1.3 or 1.7?

Hi to you all
I am looking at buying an 06 combo diesel,and am not sure whether to go for the 1.3 or the 1.7.
Has anyone any horror stories about these vans or advice.

I've got the 1.7 di - best bit of advice is get a turbo dti as the di is slow!

I've got a 1.3CDTi, it's a cracking little van, the 1.7CDTi is good too I believe. However the 1.7CDTi has a timing belt where as the 1.3CDTi has a timing chain which is less likely to break!

The 1.7 Di and DTi is an older design of engine and I think they changed over to the CDTi in 2005 so your unlikely to find an 06 reg 1.7Di or DTi.
