mira shower fault

Hi everybody
I have a Mira Zest shower which seems to have a temperature regulation problem. It either runs stone cold or boiling hot with no in-between. Does anybody have any clues as to what the problem could be?

Could be a flow valve problem.
I recall Mira had an issue with a batch of faulty flow valves, but the main symptom was that the shower howled like a banshee when it was turned on.
Is your shower making any unusual noises?

run the shower with the shower head off and the hose hanging straight down. whats it do then ?
