Hi. I was wondering if someone out there could spare the time to help me get to know my central heating system?! It's the Heatrea Sadia C600. My question is simply about adjusting the temperature. I see the adjuster on the front panel but it just spins constantly in both directions and doesn't seem to have an effect. At the current output, I can hold my hand under the tap at full heat comfortably and I can't fill a bath, it either has to be very shallow and warm or full and tepid.

I realise that this is a basic numpty question but I'm hoping it will take someone on here a minute or 2 to reply and save my frustrations!! By the way, I've downloaded the installation and sales brochures and found very little information on this.

Thanks in advance,
Dave

Haven't worked on any electric boilers but I'll try to help.
. Is the water getting enough time to heat up?
. Does your hot water cylinder have a thermostat attached to it? If so is it turned up high enough?
. You say the thermostat dials on the boiler are continuously spinning, could mean the spindle is broken and its set to a low temperature already. If your radiators are getting real hot then this unlikely to be set low.

Reguarding the Temp dial spinning, Thats broke so a new control pcb will be required.

Reguarding the hot water issue your cylinder will be heated by immersion heaters, The chances are the bottom one has tripped or failed.

Thanks a lot for the reply! At least I know it wasn't just operator error. I'll get the defect reported. Thanks again
