Hi,

I can't seem to work out where the filter is on my washer/dryer. When I am running the drying cycle, it's taking hours to do a 30 minute job and I think the filter needs cleaning. There isn't anywhere obvious to get to it and I can't keep on spending money out on it. I read the user manual and it doesn't mention it on there. Can anyone help?

Undo all the screws on the back. It's down the bottom of the drum , looks like a black cup.

Oh no, I was hoping you wouldn't say that  I'm not sure I'm strong enough for that. Will have to get some family around tomorrow!

Thanks for your reply :D

That is the filter / trap for the washer, not the dryer! You probably do need someone to service the dryer.

No. Just the condenser at the back. Thats poss blocked. You asked where the filter was try that first then you will have to flush the condenser out providing its getting hot on the dry but taking its time.

If no one in the house is strong enough to manage these appliances, hire someone to do it for you. Serious injuries could result from a tipping washer or dryer.
