I read the redacted paper that was published in the Lancet it should still be there, the research was sound.
It was signed by maybe 12 people, all the others recinded it under pressure. The other Co author was vindicated in the courts.

I've read enough to be convinced he was on to something. ....of course he ran in to bigwig politicians ( some ministers were in the firing line ) remember Blair having to answer questions about his son Leo and drug companies with vested interests.

He never claimed to understand the mechanism by which it affected the brain, but what's in the gut can affect the brain is beyond question ......have three pints and think about it.

The thing he found was that in the gut of autistic children was the same cultured measles strain that was in the vaccine not a wild strain.........all he said was that this should be researched. That it that's all he said in the original paper ...........and what a fire storm he brought down on himself.

I suggest you do a little research you self instead of reading the hysteria and cries of qwackery.

There's this thing called peer-review, and your study fails at this.

"Conclusions and Relevance In this large sample of privately insured children with older siblings, receipt of the MMR vaccine was not associated with increased risk of ASD, regardless of whether older siblings had ASD. These findings indicate no harmful association between MMR vaccine receipt and ASD even among children already at higher risk for ASD."

There has been a worrying rise of autism for quite a few years, although a causal link has never been found.

Vaccines can cause issues so they arent risk free. However it seems to me the risk of a vaccine to a child is currently much less than the risk of the diseases.

I would never trust pharma companies to produce truly independant research, do vaccines make much money for the pharmas? I dont know.

I'd guess so; if you get even a quarter of the planet's population to have just one vaccine, that's close on a couple of billion. At a dollar or so profit per dose, that's decent money.
