ford focus bonnet open heat fan /windows/washers not working

Like everyone above, I have registered just to say thank you! I spent ages fiddling around with the bonnet close point, thinking it was an electrical contact problem, but this fusebox solution sorted it immediately. Massive thank you & saved me a trip the mechanic.

Ford Focus bonnet open display on dash HEATERS fan,ELECTRIC WINDOWS,FRONT SCREEN JETS NOT WORKING,
HAVE CHECKED FUSES
This may be as sometimes happens the passengers feet loosened one plug lever directly
under the fusebox in the passenger footwell!!!! so (without dropping the fuse box) There are two clusters of coloured wires , with
push levers and see if they are clicked into place if not push the back up click in place and
check faults have gone should all works often only one cluster is involved
hope you have that sweet feeling...

Any idea what to do if this doesn’t work?

A million thank yous!! I had an unlocked, freezing cold, binbag windowed Ford Focus for over a week and then my prayers were answered with your post. I am overjoyed- thank you soo much!!

Brilliant find. Thanks for this.

Had the same issue lately on my 09 Ford C-Max.

Something so easy as a clip 2cm out of position.

Land Rover Freelander 2's have a similar problem. Behind a plastic cover under the carpet in the passenger footwell there are a number of multi-plug connectors that are always accidentally getting kicked causing the dash lights and other electrical gremlins to throw up. It’s a real stupid place to put electrical connections.

Had exactly the same issue. Been scratching my head for days, then saw this and it worked. Thank you. Only downside is after clipping the cables back into place my battery died. Does anyone know if the 2 things are connected? What could have drained the battery?
