We are in the throws of getting an extension done and need to work out additional extras I want to put in place...

we will end up with 3 bathrooms with no windows... so what is the best way to get rid of condensation and I assume it is better to keep the rooms warm what would be the optimum temperature be, should I go underfloor or will a decent towel rad do the job?

I'm also planning on going S-plan for the boiler its only 6 years old so not looking to replace, the water pressure is pitiful already so need to sort the hot water capacity is there any other options?

and lastly, its a 1970's semi with the hanging tiles on the front, has anyone replaced these with something different? we are unsure if its worth getting rendered or go Marley weatherboard... I've googled but can't really find any that have been done...

Thanks :)

My advice is always best to have a window in the bathroom, extractors are ok but not guaranteed to work properly, i located my 3rd bathroom with a window in the extension, not the best place but at least no condensation issues, extractor underpowered/faulty etc.

not possible as all bathrooms are going to be in the middle of the house ☹️ But this maximises space for bedrooms.

You just need a suitable fan, correctly located and properly ducted, and with an over run or maybe constant trickle extract plus boost.

S plan, this plan, that plan don't matter.

Whether the tiles are replaced is just down to aesthetics. But a straight replacement for something else just for the sake of it is often a bad mistake and can look worse. There needs to be some design intent.
