Black seems to be the in colour for the Lycra Brigade..from head to foot... This time of the year..no lights.. I am a cyclist but find this caper totes Nuts..Do any of these bloke cyclists actually look in the mirror before going out on there bikes

Black is less unflattering, for those who have a "more generous carriage"
Plus, it is probably a hangover from times gone by when, akin to Henry T Ford's words, "You can have it in any colour you like; as long as it is in black".
Finally, you will get dirty when cycling. Black shows this up less.

I was offering my opinion on why "the lycra bunch wear black".
Forgot to add to that; because it is the standard thing to do.

I nearly opened my car door on one wearing all black, this morning.
His ****ty flashing light was pathetically hard to see (now we are out of the EU they should be banned!).
Total idiots, they want us to giver them plenty of room but ride like ninja's.
