Hi,

Just removed trim board and found this, can anyone tell what it is?

Is it lime and what type of skincoat? Skin seems to be separated, coming off very easily, bit worried how to patch it up.

Is it pva and multifinish?

Looks like a skim on top of artex.

Been thinking of that, but isnt that the pattern too irregular? I mean why have artex with no recognizable pattern. There is a better photo about it, where no unfirom pattern is visible.

Maybe just a roller stipple.
Regardless just prep with sbr and reskim.
