Hi all, the cable on my clothes dryer has started to die of old age or perhaps use and abuse. Anyway, it's held in place with a plastic two piece gland that fits into a sort of oval shaped hole on the tube. It's around 12.5mm high and 11.3mm wide according to Mitutoyo. The glad took some abuse during it's unwilling extraction and I'm looking to source a replacement. Anyone know the Google-foo for the type of gland that I require to fill the hole (and indeed, accommodate the cable)?

Remove the flex from the hole, file the hole to suit a stuffing gland (as per Eric), and shorten back/re-terminate that damaged flex, in the appliance.

Thanks for the advice. One thing that I didn't make clear in my intro and indeed, perhaps does not come across in the photos, is that the hole is in a 38mm tube, so the mating surface is curved and there isn't much room to play with inside. What sort of gland would be best suited to this application?

Thanks for the tips. I had a look at the suggested eBay glands, which looked like they'd do the job. It's a been a while, as they came across on the slow boat but it's now fitted and the clothes dryer / heated cat basket is now back in service with a conveniently longer flex. Thanks again, all.
