What top soil should l buy for tulip bulbs please?

If you’re growing them in a pot, just compost with a bit of soil mixed in will be good enough. Otherwise, just stick 'em in the ground.
I dunno what l mean. Whether it's called top soil or compost
if you plant them in pots, make sure there's holes in the bottom of them. Tulips need to be free draining.
They're in a walled trough
Make sure the trough has holes in th bottom, natural habitat for tulips originated in dry hot deserts, they used to have the bulb about 50cm down to avoid the worst of the heat and spend all the rest of the year bone dry.
