Looks like a flamco flexvent so yes it's a aav
Close red cap when boiler vented.
They are a pain in ass renown for leaking with slightest bit of crap in system.
Out of interest that type is not fitted on Grant UK boilers!
In fact I'm one of several installer's that pushed Grant to fit manual air vents on the combi's much more reliable.
