Communism and all the other -isms never end well. We in Britain are currently in the grip of communism, and are at quite a late stage in its evolution. All institutions captured, all the wealth transferred out, violence on the streets. End it must, but how will it end?

One of the more recent examples of the overthrow of a communist regime was in Romania in 1989. Could this kind of thing happen here? I hope not. Many had to die to make it happen.

It’s happening courtesy of Pootin and his right wing admirers/ apologists

Communism is dead.
Even proper communist countries aren't proper communists any more.
China is nominally communist these days.
Russia the same, Vietnam is supposed to be communist but is doing business with America and Europe.

In the 1930s the bogeyman everyone was afraid of, was the real communism of Russia.
This gave rise to Fascism as a bulwark against the spread of the Reds.

These days the new bogeyman is Islamism and mass immigration.
This has in turn has led to the rise of populism as a new form of Fascism manifesting itself in support for the likes of Tommy ten names and others.

I always felt the far left and the far right, sort of met up round the back like east and west, but in a diseased dark place.

'Before dawn, reports come in that massive columns of workers are leaving the factories and heading for the city centre - but something's changed: the soldiers and police sent out to control them suddenly refuse to shoot and actually join the protesters instead'.
