Hot water demand but big delay in flame kicking in.

Well, that would point to perhaps that the E model does have preheat and its just running on that? but if so then you'd think that it would have a set point temperature. If you just opened the hot tap just a trickle, not enough even to start the boiler normally and it does start up after a minute or two but then stops firing again, it might tell you something.

When it is running "normally" does the temperature change if you change the set point?

Can't assist you there I'm afraid but it does seem to be associated with the flow required to start the boiler since you said it kicks in faster with a high(er) flow.

What is this "don’t forget your 26.9 checks afterwards" from @CountryFan post #5?
Certain boilers (unsure of this one) require gas safety checks afterwards part of regulation 26, paragraph 9.

Go to page 6 of my attachment, seems to say that this boiler does have warmstart

I’ve changed the hall sensor on the aqua flow block, and this has not rectified the issue, is there’s any other parts in this brass block that could be an issue and requires a change, as if got the whole unit.

Have you established if it has Warmstart and switched it off?.
Is there any indicating LED on the boiler display to show that DHW has been requested and if so, does it immuminate when a hot tap is opened?

Also when you do manage to get it running in DHW mode can you then change the temperature?

Sorry forgot to say yes i did do this and it’s still the same issue.

Okay i’ve witnessed the pin on the diverter valve pull up freely when central heating thermostat is called, and when you turn hot tap on eventually once it recognises demand it pushes down fine, any ideas?

Replaced whole aqua block as issue has been resolved. Does anyone know where to buy replacement flow restrictors for the mains inlet as other one broke and was stuck in the old fitting?
