Most solicitors charge on 15 minutes slots, so if they're on the phone 2 minutes they still charge for 15 minutes.
In 1 hour they can easily clock 3 hours work.
But to consistently clock 28 hours a day for 133 days is criminal and stupid.

I said that it is ridiculous that he gets compensation. But that the compensation was actually £7,500. And the rest was legal costs. Just clarifying the story for everyone because the headline is misleading.

Again, that is just pointless pedantry. The whole sum of 240k was spent on him, and the whole sum of 240k was a loss to the taxpayer .
