  • Undocumented immigrants fill essential labor needs in key industries, often taking jobs with high labor demands and in sectors experiencing shortages. In Florida, they account for large shares of workers in agriculture (60%), construction (23%), and building/maintenance (18%), while in Texas, they are concentrated in agriculture (54%), construction (28%), and landscaping services (51%).
  • Tax Contributions: Undocumented immigrants pay billions of dollars annually in federal, state, and local taxes, including sales, excise, property, and income taxes. In 2022, they paid an estimated $4.9 billion in state and local taxes in Texas and $1.8 billion in Florida.
  • Economic Growth and Spending Power: These individuals drive economic activity as consumers, with undocumented immigrant households nationwide having nearly $300 billion in spending power in 2023. Studies have found that the overall economic benefits of undocumented immigrants in Texas outweigh the costs to the state.

... As the Trump Administration continues its efforts to hold those responsible accountable, Congress must also pursue legislative solutions to better protect American taxpayers....

Sounds very much like a propaganda instrument by Trumpists.

We know how accurate and truthful he and his lackeys are.

This the part where MBK reverts to irrelevance and blurbs on about how you'd feel if low paid jobs that no UK worker wants was filled by an immigrant.

How much would you want to be paid to shag Trump?

I believe Melania just had one child, so maybe once was enough to fulfill her contractual obligation.

Apparently ICE are doing well with deportations in most other states, and are being helped by locals in locating illegals - as you would expect. It is just the loony left states causing trouble, and making it the whole story. Thank God for Donald Trump and ICE

I must admit, a week ago I felt some some sympathy for the saintly Alex Pretti, but when I saw the other videos which clearly showed him to be a nasty, insidious, vicious, antagonistic and aggravating heavily armed little ****, I'm starting to revise my opinion of him.

Couple that with $9 billion of fraud mainly involving the Somalian community.

Crack on Ice, crack on Don, keep up the good work.

O’bama and Byden did just as well but managed not to kill white American citizens in the process

still missing your sources.

You have been told many times. You are just unwilling to listen.

How do you define a 'useful' member of society. If somebody works hard, doesn't commit any crimes, looks after their family, supports their friends and the community, then I would class them as useful. Most illegal workers actually do pay taxes, whilst being ineligible for benefits. It is a very different system to here. The USA is a massive country. For decades, it has been accepted with a nod and a wink and it has hugely benefited both sides.
Please explain how an illegal immigrant can pay income tax.

take your time

Nobody is trolling, you are posting ridiculous claims:

- Every illegal immigrant has committed a crime - an immigration offence.
- They have no right to work and cannot pay taxes - someone is exploiting someone
- Then you have all the consequential crimes: working without insurance, driving without a licence etc etc. more likely to hit and run.
- Illegal immigrants are harder to trace, because they "don't exist".

The fact they keep their crime off the radar does not meant they commit less crime.
In referring to UK's asylum seekers, seeking asylum negates any crime of illegal entry.
After waiting for 12 months asylum seekers can work.

The type of illegal immigrants that are untraceable that you refer to, are the visa stay-overs, the tourist visa holders who arrive legally, but then claim asylum, or the ones who overstay after their work/study visa expires, or the ones who come in totally undetected. That leaves those who arrived by boat, who claim asylum, and are processed. The government knows exactly where they are.

Which ones are you referring to?
