She is not an employee, she represents herself, she cannot sack herself. She is free to write whatever she likes in an attempt to get noticed.
He was employed and a representative of his company. He can and apparently was let go.

Linkedin is not a platform to express personal views, that can damage the reputation of your employer.

Would you write an article on Linked in while being employed in a senior role, criticising a company or organisation that your employer was doing business with?

He didn't criticise the organisation that they were working with.

He wrote a couple of erudite articles about Trump's communication skills and strategy.

It was the Trump government which complained, not the organisation.

which were critical. No doubt as a PR expert along with the lady you linked to, he and she thought, "I should write something about Trump as its a trending subject and I might get some traction".

He did, he got very noticed, she.. well based on her accounts.. not so much (but to be fair it may be a lifestyle business)..
