I feel Trump must have a game plan with his rather strange statements that he is making, I cannot believe that he has not got any advisors that would stop this from happening, it isnt just about him looking silly, it is the USA that he is representing. I am sure all will be revealed and his sanity will return.

Reacting to the comments made by the president that Iran had gifted "a very large present" to the US, he says: "Is it a figurative present in that they have opened or guaranteed the safety of all ships in the Strait of Hormuz? We do not know. We will see.
"That would be a game changer if the Iranians can be believed, and they are not a good actor in all this."
There are also questions as to why Trump is now choosing to believe Iran if it says it will no longer seek nuclear weapons, when his negotiators were not willing to take their word for it before the war during talks in Geneva.
"This is a very hard one to read," Stone adds.
"I might be sounding a bit flippant, but this is the leader of the free world, and he is not talking sense right now."
