Do you believe Trumpf when he says Irann is begging for a deal to end the war, if so how is that consistent with them denying negotiations have taken place.

'Begging' is almost certainly a lie, but what exactly did Iran very vocally and publicly 'reject' earlier this week. If there were no discussions, proposals, terms call it what you will, what exactly did Iran reject?
 
I believe Trump is indeed in some sort of talks with someone as it would be too much to lie about, wether or not he is talking to the right person or people is debateable.
 
Trump says
The US does not need NATO, calling the alliance’s stance a “very foolish mistake.” He said he is not currently planning to withdraw from the alliance but suggested it is an option worth considering.
Now he is concentrating all of his efforts on Iran, will he deflect patriot missiles and weapons destined for Ukraine? He will see this as an opportunity to get one back at NATO, as I have said, love him, hate him we cannot dismiss the US as our biggest ally.

our military should show a stronger support I agree with him on that point. We do not have to get into the fight on an offensive position to give him support.

Because he is telling the truth and Iran are lying murdering terrorists.
 
Ultimately, I have to wonder if this (the US attack on Iran) is going to be an exercise in futility.

Why?

Because if the end goal is to try and assist Iran to return to its pre 1979 days, how exactly is that going to be achieved? Surely, regardless of how much the place is bombed, regardless of how many of their leaders and top tier are killed, after the US withdraw, there will still be people left that believe in the current regime. No? And from seeds trees grow or whatever the saying is.

For this to be deemed a long term genuine success, many stars have to align. And at present, I'm not seeing how that's going to happen.

They rejected his unilateral 15 point agreement. I think Trumpf is in war mode and we will see his ten thousand crack troops against Irann’s million reservists
