Trumps attack on Iran - 2026 edition

How will the upcoming attack on Iran go.

Because he is telling the truth and Iran are lying murdering terrorists.
 
Ultimately, I have to wonder if this (the US attack on Iran) is going to be an exercise in futility.

Why?

Because if the end goal is to try and assist Iran to return to its pre 1979 days, how exactly is that going to be achieved? Surely, regardless of how much the place is bombed, regardless of how many of their leaders and top tier are killed, after the US withdraw, there will still be people left that believe in the current regime. No? And from seeds trees grow or whatever the saying is.

For this to be deemed a long term genuine success, many stars have to align. And at present, I'm not seeing how that's going to happen.

They rejected his unilateral 15 point agreement. I think Trumpf is in war mode and we will see his ten thousand crack troops against Irann’s million reservists

Its not a slant. There is a difference between Trumpf's lies (lets call them spin) and the facts, which are that Irann will not trust Trumpf because the last set of talks was no more than an opportunity to identify and wipe out their leadership.

There are plenty of fruit cakes about Tranny, but there's more than one bowl on the table.

Trumpf is buying time to get more troops across, he will almost certainly take out their power plants, and sadly they will draw in the middle east countries by attacking their desalination facilities. What's happening now is just a precursor to all that. Maybe even the destruction of some holy Sunny sites.

It's amazing how many people who think Trump is a deluded nutter are now insisting he must be believed unreservedly.

Support for the Ayatollah regime was 18% of the population in 2022 and 11% in 2024, I suspect today that figure is low single figures.

If Iran had a million reservists ready to go they wouldn't be trying to recruit 12 year olds to man the checkpoints.
