The forum trolls immediately think I am lying, they think because I never voted for Brexit that must mean I voted to remain. I remember some years back that as a result of Brexit, London was going to lose it's crown as one of the leading financial centres in the world, Paris and Frankfurt were going to take over and the Europeans did everything in their power to make this happen.
Today London stands at number 2 behind New York.
Jobs are up 13% since pre covid and the sector contributed £294 billion to the economy in 2023.
Neither Paris nor Frankfurt have made it into the top ten.

But that's OK they have manufacturing, don't they?
Volkswagen are in the process of shedding 100,000 jobs and will likely close down at least 4 factories. They will be halving their model range and the latest VW T7 is basically a Ford Transit.

Germany are negotiating to buy the Iron Dome system from Israel and VW are pleading with Israel to allow them to manufacture parts of the system in one of their many empty VW factories.

Brexit benefits?
