Hi. I have a Bosch WFB2005 washing machine (about 10 years old). It was working fine until I washed some very dirty workclothes (plaster stuck to them etc) which have blocked the pump (I think) - the machine is filling and turning as normal but does not drain at all at any point throughout the cycle, so ends up almost full of water.

When 'pump' is selected, the thing is totally dead.

We've drained the machine via the drain at the bottom right hand side, and some little lumps of plaster came out, but I think there is more in there, and it's still not working at all.

Does anyone know if the pump can be accessed via this drain? We've taken the 'plug' out to drain the machine, but the next bit is either stuck or is not designed to be unscrewed. Is the way in there to take the front of the machine off?

I just want to check whether this is something very simple, before we call an engineer or buy a new machine.

Thanks

Hi,
You can only access the pump by removing the front panel, release the door seal lip from front panel, release door interlock, udo 2+ screws & bottom of panel where you removed bottom plinth, the pull panel away from appliance this will expose pump & pump sump hose this hose may be blocked,
Good Luck
