I found your post about blown dimmer swich via google. I have an exact same problem. So was it really dimmer switch? I wouldn't like to spend 30 EUR and then finding out it's something else.
I already checked all bulbs and switches and it seems they are ok. So probably the only thing left is the dimmer switch, right?
