Hi I am getting fitters to lay this flooring in hall 4 meters square. Will there be much wastage ? And if so would it be enough to do 2 meters square? This may be a really silly question but I have no Idea about laying these type of floors

No I am trying to lesson the cold getting through the roof also insulating the rafters to lesson the heat loss through ceiling

I am insulating above the ceiling also. I want the roof joists done for that extra layer

timber tongue and groove not sure how many repairs as just bought the bungalow. First thing that struck me when we viewed was how good the floorboards looked. We where close to sanding and varnishing. But decided to carpet instead

Plus I like the sound of celotex over spray foam. I am just hoping the roofspace is not a shared one

Spray foam to me sounds like a potential disaster if water or condensation was to get into the other side it could be a nightmare

I heard that spraying a loft with foam can cause properties to be unmortageable although I'm not sure how much of that I believe. Is celotex a good alternative and is it expensive?

We are moving Into new house. I have only been in a couple of times. My dad was in to check the heating. He had heating on and said that was the timer for it as that's what he switched to test the heating
