Recomended retailer for buying furniture grade pine for floating shelves

These are the brackets that support my existing solid pine shelves. They are more than adequate. I am replacing them with MDF and PAR batons glued and pinned because my existing solid pine shelves are twisted, not by much but visible never the less. Comments here are divided, some recommend...

Recomended retailer for buying furniture grade pine for floating shelves

Yes, I was factoring the planed size so two https://www.atlantictimber.co.uk/pine-planed-all-round-150mm-x-50mm-6-x-2-up-to-3m.html glued together with dowels will give me 286 x 44 which is very close to what I want. Is that a good solution?

I need it to be wider than 200mm, 280 is ideal. Would it be a good solution to glue and dowel two 150x50 bits https://www.atlantictimber.co.uk/pine-planed-all-round-150mm-x-50mm-6-x-2-up-to-3m.html and cut it to size with my plung saw and rail? I plan to paint it white.

Sanding and re-staining a toilet seat

I meant wood dye. I'm a bit confused, sorry. So just to double-check, having sanded my toilet seat made of oak (which came in mahogany finish) it is now stripped back to its natural wood colour. What's the best way to refinish it in mahogany and what should I use to achieve that. Wood dye...
