    Cutout fuse size

The car will charge in 2hrs 12 mins on a 7kw home charger so potentially worth it.

    Cutout fuse size

Consumer unit photo below: Interestingly, it appears that someone has soldered the earth to the incoming supply. I assume that is not normal.

    Cutout fuse size

12.1kw useable apparently, hence the 6 hour charge time. Presumably, because it's a PHEV, the control never lets you fully deplete the battery so it never needs the full 15kwh replenishing.

    Cutout fuse size

Its range rover evoque with a 15kw battery. It takes 6 hours to charge off a 3 pin plug which is fine when we leave it on overnight, but less so if we want to charge it at other times. Good point about the charging rate. I have no idea how quickly it will charge off a bigger charger.

    Cutout fuse size

Yes, charging via a standard 3 pin plug and no electric shower. We have an electric oven and back up immersion heater but other than that, no significant electrical devices. If there's no cover to remove, i won't be pulling any non-isolated fuses!

    Cutout fuse size

Our house is the first house built on the road back in 1925 and the rest of the houses were built over the next 40 years. There's only one cable, not a return, so that and the fact that our house was the first one built is what makes me think its not looped in. Will post a picture of the...

    Cutout fuse size

We've just acquired a hybrid car and i'm interested in whether we can get an EV charger fitted to reduce the charging time. Our incoming supply isn't looped, we have 2 spare ways in our consumer unit and based on the markings on our cutout, i think we may have a 100amp fuse in the incoming...

How to attach new loft floor joists to existing wall plate/rafters

Just sister the joist where it sits on the wall plate if you're worried. You've removed bearing area by cutting the joist on an angle to fit under the roof, so double or triple up the width to compensate.

A TV film you haven't seen (Israel's extermination of Palestinian healthcare)

Hamas can't really complain about Israel not following the geneva convention considering that they initiated the war by murdering civilians on mass and taking hostages that they still haven't released, in contravention to the Geneva convention..... If one side starts the whole thing by not...

A TV film you haven't seen (Israel's extermination of Palestinian healthcare)

Isn't the taking of hostages prohibited under the geneva convention?

A TV film you haven't seen (Israel's extermination of Palestinian healthcare)

The nazis were tried in a court of law after they'd surrendered and the war was over. Have Hamas terrorists handed back the hostages, accepted defeat, surrendered to the Israelis and then been assassinated or executed?

A TV film you haven't seen (Israel's extermination of Palestinian healthcare)

Under what rules is this a war crime? Is war now like a game where you get subbed off the pitch if you're injured? Should the allies have avoided killing Hitler if he was in hospital being treated for a broken finger? Do terrorist leaders now get to lie down, pretend to be injured and therefore...

I don’t think pagers are given to random people. Only specific people you want to contact, for some reason…..

Quite the opposite, one of the most targeted attacks, ever.

A TV film you haven't seen (Israel's extermination of Palestinian healthcare)

Except Hamas, who still refuse to release the hostages, knowing full well that doing so would largely end the killing of both their fighters and the collateral Palestinian civilians.
