    If a landlords property to be tested , should it be done to the 17th regardless of the age of the property ? And any work carried out to should that be done to the 17th as well or is the 16th sufficient ?

    When using earthing nuts do you still use a lock ring to secure the gland to the box and then fit the earth nut , as to me it would seem that by tightening the lock ring down first would give a better mechanical joint and the to use the earthing nut for improved conductivity

    If work is carried out in a bathroom should the owner of the house ie the person having the work done , should they receive a copy of the test certificate from the sparks and also some paperwork from the council / building control to say the work has been registered. A friend has had some...

    The cable is 3 core so one core will be the earth , but what if it was 2 - core ? If the brass ring is used along with a 5mm brass nut and bolt and it tests out ok then is this good enough ?

    Is it ok to terminate an armoured cable directly into a plastic 2 -way garage consumer unit providing the brass ring is used with the gland kit for the earth return ? The armoured cable is the garage feed.

    I have replaced patches of grass with new turf but still the moss reappears Should i dig up the grass and dig down about 6" and add something to help drainage and put new soil and new turfs back in .Thanks

The garage supply cable would be in a seperate way in the house consumer unit...
