Perhaps the Optimyst is (almost ?) unique in having been made for that length of time and the manufacturer doesn't seem to care about the problems with it ? Normally I'd expect a manufacturer with such a problem to have "fixed" the issue and over the 7 years the old ones would have gone and been...

Hi My early fire has the transducer and sump as one unit. Does anyone know if I can replace the transducer without buying a new integrated uninitiated - £200 from Dimplex when a £4 unit will do the trick. Any advice please. Thanks
