What's the chance of cutting bolts out to replace wood on these post's? Are the post's past their use & need replacing. Not tried to remove any yet, but was thinking angle grinder to do the job or am i wasting my time. Cheers for any replies

It's a Hamilton 2" cutting in one. The only one i could locate at the time, not sure type of bristles thou.

Might not help you much, but just done my wooden clad bathroom ceiling with that paint using a brush. Got a really nice finish too.

Cheers Madrab: I was thinking column rads had round tubes lol. What's the difference between the two types, is it heat output, quicker to get warm or something else.

It's not that big, got 2 outside walls & no heating in cupboard below. Towel rad doesn't warm it enough for me. Not looking at column ones, the wife wants flat paneled one.

I'm replacing like for like(no timer) The two wires not used, what is their purpose? Would they be used for a fan with a timer? The fan is operated by it's own switch outside the bathroom. Many thanks

Definitely txg & where a slight hole is, i was a bit too forcefull scraping paint off. It's not floating as far as i can tell.

I need to fill in small gaps in wooden cladding before painting. Majority of gaps are above bath, so what is the best to use. Is decorators caulk ok or would acrylic sealant do. Cheers

I removed a bit of beading to replace it. Behind it i found it stuck on top of broken bits of ceramic tiles with copious amounts of caulk. The gap behind it is 20mm deep in places, what's the best option to reattach it? Would expanding foam do the job or should it be best reduce the gap it's...
