Anyone fit one of these before seems abit odd that the clicker bit isn't enclaslated it just sits on top. If knocked it while in the bath could come loose/leak.

If could get one exactly the same I guess swapping the total unit could be an option.

I don't think there is an isolation unless there is one under the cover. I emailed the picture to shower doctor. They say I need to remove the cartridge so they can identify. I I do this putting the old one back in may not seal? And maybe left with a leak till the new one comes?

At present I can move the nob all the way to the left and still not hot enough

Its a flat close coupled back plate that was in and large rubber circular washer. Toilet had dimples in to except the bots. Instead of indentations on the close couple kit.

Could it be the fact I fit a close coupled kit that has indentation for the bolts the one I took out was flat. Like this

Could a Syphon were the handle is possibly not fitting correctly to the hook cause strain and cause the seal between the syphon and the cistern to leak.

Can a non gas safe plumber change a thermocouple?

Not much I can do about the overflow been like that since installed. Would a part 2 valve still be better if I swapped?
