Vokera Sabre HE Plus - Adverse Weather

He was possibly meaning a "Plume diversion Flue" as is fitted to some condensing chb's. Not sure if Vokera do them though. Seen them on Worcesters boiler installs. Unless there are any Vokera eng's on here I would suggest contacting Vokera direct for an answer....................

VOKERA 735, sounds like a train!!

Small problem has developed on my Vokera 735. Fault on DHW only. After running for 30 seconds it sounds like a train, a repetitive noise. Thinking either non return valve not sitting at plate HX or overheating but it's only 18months old, has a magnaclean fitted and was all flushed out when...

    Power Flushing

Yeah, I do work for them. They do get a bad reputation from certain people but as a lot of people have said, there are good and bad engineers everywhere. The prices are a lot better, us engineers were complaining about the prices for years, they have now either took notice or their business...

Vokera Linea 735 leaking water from motorized Valve

I had thi problem on a job last week. The leak from the o-ring usually gets into the mororised valve. Usually knackers them but on this occasionthe fault was on dhw demand the motor was moving in/out/in/out constantly causing hot/cold water delivery. New motorised valve fitted problem...

    Power Flushing

RE: the major supplier who is supplying 0% on new boilers Quoted a customer £2020 to replace a response 80 with a greenstar 24, upgrade gas pipe/sort electrics (no earthing, stats wired up incorrectly etc) When you cosider the 0% for 12 months it is a pretty decent price. Local guys were...

    Powerflush not circulating

Surely when on CH only, flow to cylnder shut. Circulation around rads crap though.....

    Powerflush not circulating

No, problem more on CH. Sometimes o/heat pops when heating on only. It is certainly a return issue, when some of the rads are trying to heat the flow is roasting, return freezing.....NO whooshing noise when etc when it does start to heat...

    Powerflush not circulating

Hooked upto a system the other day and it wouldn't circulate??? Sealed system,Yplan, system chb. GLoworm Ultimate 22mm pipe to pump/valve before it goes undergrground into 15mm. The problem is poor circulation initially. The boiler cycles off before there is any heat to the rads. Heat gets...

Pilot won't stay lit after system drain.

Wasn't to sure if this chb had one as bad as the vokera o/heats that fail all the time.....but yeah, could be that too/also
  17. R

Pilot won't stay lit after system drain.

Thermocouple is knackered. It would have been ok when lit but twhen it cools, if faulty, it doesn't expand again to keep the pilot lit. RGI needed, £10 part though so not a big cost......

    New work measurement at BG

Sometimes achievable, sometimes not. Same old story. New latop/tracker and performance measures is just a way or getting rid of poor performing engineers I think. Quite a few will be under the performance programme or whatever they are calling it once the 3months figures are calculated...
