    I need a latching switch

Think I will need to go with that, That is the best looking switch I can find. The Vandal resistant ones look so much better though, why don't they make them latching instead of momentery?

    I need a latching switch

Fitted RS part no 240-1231 1 S/steel large actuated pushbutton switch My mistake but it is momentery switch, I need a switch that latches. it has a minature or sub-minature switch that just clips onto the back of the button unit so is there any chance of just swapping this for a switch...

    Outdoor LED kit

That's quite an interesting gadget :) May go for that if I cannot get a decent looking switch. The switch in series would be fitted on the 240v side, before the transformer reduces to DC Cheers

    Outdoor LED kit

I'm in Scotland so not sure what the regs say. It's terrible that you cannot do minor works, if your competent. I'm sure I can connect 4 wire together, via a switching unit!!!

    Outdoor LED kit

I have a 10led outdooor kit. Not fitting outdoor but on my kitchen kickplate. I need to fit a switch in series to turn them on/of as I can't use a plug which is supplied. It's a 2 core cable from the mains 240vac, then it goes into the transformer which steps it down to 12Vdc with 10plug...

    Vokera 20 80 RS Flowmatic

Glasgowgas, surely if the dhw diapghram was goosed it would stop working when he turns the heating off again? More likely to be pump flow diaphragm getting an extra push to make the switch when ch turned on.......................

    Vokera 20 80 RS Flowmatic

Colud be the pump flow switch not making on DHW, diagprahm corroded, choked impulse pipe. The CH uses different flow source to make the switch. sort of. My bet is the flow switch pin is sticking. Strip it down, clean it and replace, WIll probably work after that but always best to stick a new...

Anyone ever bought used these? Our house is 120yrs old and on a sunny day there are millions of fibres/dust particles flooating about the air. The house becomes dusty very quickly and we have polished walnut floors so they too also become mucky looking. I've been looking at Air Purifiers...
