Thanks Jon C ,I will ask my tenant to send a pic,but she is at work atm.I have another LL elec cert too that I can post from same spark(?).

Can you give me a run down of the incorrect interpretations on the report,I think that lots of them are similar to what was "not to current standards" on LL gas certs,but are classified incorrectly. Cheers Lidds

Hi all ,was Gas Safe registered so am au fait with LL gas checks. Electric check on my buy to let and I get tons of C1 markers which I would equate to Immediately Dangerous on gas checks(such as open end gas pipe etc) Why is number 12 (cables under 50mm in walls) on the list categorised as C1...

People seem obsessed with making their homes draught proof,double glazing,cavity wall insulation etc. Many houses I go to put washing on radiators or cook, without opening windows and then seem surprised that there is mould on their walls!! :? Oh and get a quote from B.G then get it for around...

If your boiler is in the kitchen,please ensure he leaves NO clearances for future repair work , replacement or refer to any manufacturers instructions. But don't worry I think you will find most kitchen fitters do this as a matter of course :wink:

On a gravity fed thermostatic shower the shower has started to groan and vibrates to other pipes.The noise gets worse when the head is lowered. Just wondered what may cause it.Its a Triton installed 7 months ago. Thanks :?:

What is the best shower pump for a single shower supplied from a gravity system,also any add on required i.e for aeration .Its on 15mm copper. Thanks

Its a very narrow cavity and the insulation appears to be retaining water.I was hoping someone my have a way to remove other than taking bricks out every few feetThanks for the reply,cheers Graham.
