Are they all part of the same set/range? Could it be that the polarity of the one driver is the oppposite of the other?

The house I'm working on now has the same as well as some "newer" cables from a partial rewire. The empty cable drums stashed in the voids suggest the rewire happened in 1960s...so the old cables have got to be originals...(1930s!)

There is only a single manhole cover on the property (that I can see) and it's for the public sewer. I've lifted it and there are no signs of any pipes that join it. I took a picture of it if you need it posting?

Hmmm interesting....so I'm guessing I contact my supplier (Npower) then to get the meter moved? AS I said earlier they're already coming round on Thursday to fit an isolator (free :D)....can I ask them on Monday to add this onto the planned works?
