Kitchen downlights, rocker switch + JB. Switched Live?

Thanks. I'll take a look at this. I have heard that mentioned before but as the existing wiring is in place and currently switched off/isolated at CU. I'm basically just linking up to the JB that was disconnected when the cornice was replaced/repaired. I just didn't see what order the cables...

Kitchen downlights, rocker switch + JB. Switched Live?

Thanks. Of course I meant Neutral. I've been looking at the bank balances before payday and have it on the brain   I thought I could go as low as 1mm but I only have a reel of 1.5 It's literally a 1.5m run to the JB. Cheers JB is located ontop of the cuboard. Not...

Switched FCU off Single Spurred Socket? (Downlights)

Switched FCU off Single Spurred Socket? (Downlights)

http://i55.tinypic.com/2znqp1c.jpg Can someone confirm if the wiring circled in blue will be fine to pass a Part P inspection?. I have a new build house and I wanted to add downlights in the kitchen. However I know you can't spur off a spur but is it ok to spur for downlights. Low voltage...
