    Sorry if I have been confusing…. We set it overnight, say to 16 or 17, so that IN the morning it is that temperature. I do not actually set it IN the morning.

    We’re not in during the day so why would we want to have the heating on… I’m maybe missing your point here… we are manually setting heating OFF during day and then manually set it ON in evening to about 22 and then manually set it to 16 overnight so when we wake up first thing in the morning...

    Yes. Most of the time the heating is off during the day.

    Not if you are running it at about 16 degrees just to make sure it doesn't go too low for the morning, and if it is only overnight it isn't 24hrs ;)

    Thanks It is Honeywell CM707: https://www.mepstock.co.uk/admin/images/CM707%20User%20Guide.pdf "If the heating is left 'on' permanently, then it should be at the set value when you get up." - Yep, and this is the issue.... it isn't... Not sure of any in-built mechanism, but it's not helping...

    Hi When I go to bed I manually set my thermostat to 17.5 so the temperature never falls below and when we wake up it is not too cold. However, recently in the morning the temperature is actually BELOW what i set. There is not an 'auto' programme set on there either. Example: When waking up...

    Thanks! Not sure on the plaster. This was bult about 2018. We moved in in 2020. We have the in-built fan that clicks in when you turn on the light. There is high humidity in there we think. The tapes have 'blown' and we are getting someone to fix that.
