Hi All.. my new shell's up and I'm fitting out the inside.. but I need to reduce the colour in the motar on the outside... I'd put use 0.7% colour to cement... but for some reason they used 1-0.9%... result.. pink mortar... having realised their mistake 1/2 way up the wall, they changed to 0.7%...

The stone comes in 3 sizes. 65,100 and 140 and I bought 3 lengths in each. So not a lot of cutting On the fill, its 100mm gap with insulation? Isn't that standard? So your thinking they are on the money? IYKWIM ;)

well.. the situation is as followes:- they were meant to do the full job, but never got started... so I dug out and put in the foundations myself.. they turned up and did the blocks that got the foundations out of the ground (ive included these in the count BTW)... I then did the oversite...

well they started in October.. the odd day here and there... so far they have done 640 blocks.. and have a total time of 80 hours on the job.. thats 7.5 mins per block on average... okay, they may have to cut a few and measure up for 1 door / 2 windows... and mix cement.. .but even if that took...

well, was out there yesterday and managed to pull the top row of blocks off!!... the cement on the blocks showed signs to frost damage (had kind of bubbled up in the joints).... does this mean all the rest are questionable?... The blocks didn't get covered the day before.. just the stones which...
