    The plaster was fixed to it before, so i assume can be done again. I guess my main question was given that it's quite soft and brittle, would it all need to come up up to a certain point? It constitutes a major part of the wall, so what would replace it, brickwork?

    Thanks, sorry was on the move! Seems like you need to use bondit then skim if the surface is sound, or board over, or just accept it!

    Hi, I have fan artex throughout my house on the ceilings, about 1-2mm ridge depth. Thinking this can be plastered over with mukti finish? Is this correct? If so, what is the procedure in terms of PVA etc?
