Integrated fridge replacing, power source 3m away! Advice please

So after that you then used the correct wire which you fitted into a plug so the moulded plug that comes on it is void. I know I sound dumb as here but I want to know whats safe and what is not before hubby starts pulling things apart.

which would mean 2 junction boxes if we want to use the original moulded plug, but if not one followed by cable and a plug of the same amps.

Integrated fridge replacing, power source 3m away! Advice please

Everything I have read said that an extension lead for a fridge would need to be a 13 amp one. So you would recommend we cut the entire lead off the back of the new fridge (don't have it yet so not sure what the wires go into, screwed or crimped.. then replace that wire with new to a junction...

Integrated fridge replacing, power source 3m away! Advice please

Thank you. The current set up is fridge with new wire to a junction box, wire out of that box is the original moulded plug wire that runs to a socket in a cupboard 3m away. Wires run along the floor under the kickboard up into a cupboard where a double socket is. So I could plug the extension...

    Roof leak at abutment

Thanks. We’ve been told that is the case but to do that means removing a lot of tiles, cladding and scaffolding. Quoted around 3k for that and it’s money we can’t put into a fix if we are hoping to retile come next year. We almost want a bodge that will make it watertight through the winter to...

    Guttering leaks..help!

We are waiting on a quote for all new gutters, fasica and soffits but have been told if we are planning on doing the roof soon then we are effectively throwing away money on scaffolding, gutters and a skip over £1k that will need all over again when it comes to the roof retile. The current roof...

    Guttering leaks..help!

I expect that it is down to perished seals with it being at nearly every joint. I have 11 in total and 8 are leaking. In an ideal world we would replace the whole lot but we'd be into the thousands with it having to all be removed when we eventually get the fascia, soffit and roof tiles all...
