Painting the underside of a wood floor with bitumen prolongs the life of the shed floor.

The black cylinder is an electrolytic capacitor, which looks to have overheated (due to a high ESR?), judging by the underside of the board. What are its markings? It's certainly worth replacing; but the fault may lie elsewhere.

Isn't that a push-fit fitting? The grooves on the white part look parallel; not a thread. Try pushing the red part to the left.

Is your soil pipe clay or plastic? A broken clay pipe underground can cause blockages which no amount of plunging will permanently clear.

Agreed.

Those look a good idea. They should keep the shed timber clear of wet ground.

Be aware any resulting hollow under the shed floor makes an ideal nesting space for rats if they can gnaw rheir way in.

The thingummy is a "timber connector". Or you could use wood glue.

Unfortunately, the extra greenhouse gases from burning the fuel of the thousands of aircraft flying around to spray the particles will cancel out any advantage which the reflective approach might have.;)

Wouldn't the holes be filled by bolts (which could easily be sealed)?

If multiple holes are mis-aligned then, as per post #2, file or cut off 1mm or so from the end of the top piece. Hopefully all holes would then align.

No. The charger is able to provide enough power for running the phone apps and for charging the battery at the same time.
