    Partially Filled Cistern

Hi All This is a pic of one of my cisterns. You can see the old watermark showing the cistern is not filling completely. No obvious adjustment is visible. Any advice please? Cheers Doug

    Faulty Cistern

Hi All My cistern is overflowing and continues to stream slowly into the bowl for a couple of minutes, before a HISSSSSSS and then shuts off. Is this just an adjustment to fix or new valve? Unfortunately the cistern li is not easily accessible as it is concealed under a bathroom worktop. Cheers Doug

    Rachel Reeves upset

Knowing she was being shown on TV, she deliberately let the tears run down her face. Most would wipe the tears before they fell. Does she have a hidden agenda?. Seeking a sympathy vote before hitting us with more taxes? Hmmmm :unsure:

    Self-driving Cars

In a situation where traffic is managed by police/highway patrols, how does a driverless car respond to hand signals directing traffic to follow what is normally 'the wrong way' ie temporary routes using the oncoming lanes on motorways etc. How does a driverless car react to a HGV driver...

    PPF Filter

Hi All I have been avoiding diesel cars as I do not drive a lot of miles which would be problematic for the diesel engine's DPF particle filter which requires regular burning off. I have now been advised that my new lease petrol vehicle a 2025, 1.5 MHEV 163 Tekna 5dr [7 Seat] Xtronic has a PPF...

    TPMS Replacement

I have now driven the car but the one tyre is still indicating 1Psi. The tyre sensor app on the dash has been reset to remove the amber tyre warning light, but the 1Psi indication remains. Am really annoyed now as my daughter will worry about it, despite her family having a 2nd older car which...

    TPMS Replacement

Hi All. Just replaced a TPMS valve on my daughters Ford Galaxy as the valve stem was leaking. A Ford supplied valve was fitted by the tyre fitter but on driving the car, the dash is showing 1Psi for that wheel, despite it being inflated to 37Psi. Is there a process to calibrate it? Cheers All Doug

    Bosch Shredder - Defective Switch

Just realised the control knob is shaped such that when it is rotated, it converts the round motion to a horizontal motion to operate the switch. I will order the switch and see how it goes.

    Bosch Shredder - Defective Switch

Thanks SFK for the info. The Karcher black switch lever appears to be a push/pull type, whereas the Bosch shredder is a rotary switch. I'll have to see whether the switch can be modified, or the shredder can be wired as a push switch. The problem is that the on/off switch plastic control knob...

    Bosch Shredder - Defective Switch

Yes, I had no response on the 'Tools' section so thought I would try 'General'. Frustrating that a perfectly good machine may have to be scrapped due to the lack of a cheap switch. May have to look at a possible jury rig repair.
