    One other general question I am unclear on is.... Does the 9651 Panel actually charge the 12v Lead Acid Battery in the Panel ? Or does it use it just for backup power in the event of a power cut ? Also the same for a bell box... do they usually have the electronics to charge the bell box...

    I may be wrong, but I believe there are permitted zones in the bathroom where electrical appliances may be. I believe there are 2 major zones where no electrics can be installed.
