Check prices for a new caliper. I got my rear ones for the A3 at less than £30 on GSF. Sometimes you get lucky

    Imigrants wishing to stay.

Himmy the psychopath says: "I'm not making any false accusations. You said you've never committed any crimes in UK. I asked if you are denying the torching or damaging of a ULEZ camera." In his head I said that I torched a camera. Reality is that I simply didn't condemn people who did. He is...

    Imigrants wishing to stay.

Himmy is out on full force today. Usual tactic: reports users to mods and bothers them non stop, so they block replies to him. Then he's free to make false allegations against everyone. What a psychopath!

    Imigrants wishing to stay.

Can't reply to the racist bigot in drags because he's reported me and my replies to him are blocked. So please someone tell him to shut up and take his meds.

    Imigrants wishing to stay.

I'm not sure @SPLINE wants people like myself out of the country. Always worked, paid taxes, never grabbed any benefit and never committed a crime. I think he wants the leeches out, or am I mistaken?

    skint and no heating

Sometimes the boss puts the heating at 20⁰ and humidity in the house goes below 50%. My throat starts getting dry and I cough, hot flushes, burning feeling on my feet and dry eyes. Maybe it's because I grew up in a coastal town, but I think best humidity level in the house is around 65% and...

    Floor preparation in a bathroom

You need to use self leveling compound after the cement board. Make sure your floor boards are solid before doing anything else.

Where do you put stuff, to be handy?

My brother used to work in a factory where the rule was that anything that hadn't been used for 5 years had to be disposed of. He gave me a Beta socket set that was otherwise going in the bin.

    And another one..

Right, you're totally off your marbles. Stop waffling and take your meds. As said, I won't be dragged into an irrational discussion with a nutcase like you. Bye. P.S.: if it makes you feel better, take it as a victory. I'll send a medal to the mental institute for you.

    Swapping a basin

That's why I said to replace them if they were kinked, twisted or leaking. They fail because of wrong installation.

    And another one..

You're out of the foam room? They should've kept you there for a couple of days. You're using the same tactic as all your previous usernames: once you're caught red handed, you make up stories about us pinching out of context words. Again, I invite you to take your meds because your attacks on...

    Pressed driveway

Cheapest option is to fill with concrete and be creative with trying to reproduce the paving pattern. Compact whatever is underneath.

Where do you put stuff, to be handy?

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: I'd love that but there's no rodents there.

    Swapping a basin

Not much you can do about it. Most tap mixers come with them. Gone are the days taps were solidly connected to copper pipes.

Where do you put stuff, to be handy?

Those black bolts are only used for bikes. I haven't touched any bike at least since December. The space is only for bolts and nothing else, so I wouldn't need to touch them unless I needed them. Your theory is not a possible explanation unfortunately.

Where do you put stuff, to be handy?

Nothing of that sort. Example. I have a cabinet with bolts for bicycles. I have labels and sorting plastic cases. In one slot last week I went to get black M4 bolts. The correct slot was empty. Went again a couple of days later and there they are, where they're supposed to be. Explain that.

Wall plug drill size and screw size question

Don't know about cheap plugs, but Fischer recommends length of screw to protrude 10mm out of the plug on final installation. So with a 40mm plug and screw going flush to the wall, you'd need a 50mm screw.
