The stage im at is black wire off. Choke is on & ive undone the mixture / tick over screw 1 1/2 turns. Seems to want to start but no. So i try with chocke off but the same. I continue like this by turning screw 1/2 a turn then do the same. Im currently at 5 turns

When you say sheared pin is that the woodruff key in the crank hence shaft spins but pulley does nothing hence No drive. I’m ok with spanners.

E10 is 95 RON which is what I use in my car & other petrol tools. I’ve been using it in my tools for a while now & even this MS170 I think I will get it warmed up & then turn that single screw once more a bit at a time now it’s much warmer. Never simple is it.

The screw on the carb is left hand thread. I think you are talking about a normal screw I am correct or wrong ?
