    Pipe slice prices

Yeah I would attempt to start putting them (amongst some other tools) in merchants possibly at cost to get the brand known. It’s part of a bigger plan with bathroom furniture etc but getting a brand recognised is the main goal and I thought pipe slices would be good to start with but didn’t...

    Pipe slice prices

agree, which is why I looked initially looked in to it. It’s easier to say this slice and that slice is a tenner but most are rubbish quality and I end up spending out for an expensive brand. I also have never had a decent 28mm slice

    Shower valve leak

It will eventually come off. Even if you have to heat it up and damage the handle. Buying a new handle is cheaper than smashing off tiles. In its current state it’s already broke regardless

    Pipe slice prices

Probably about £1 - £1:50 I can get the for, rebranded and packaged. Then have other shipping costs on top. It wouldn’t just be slices. I would gradually try and build a brand. It all has to start somewhere

    Pipe slice prices

Thats why I’ve not said going on just to buy one. I asked what price would grab peoples attention if they saw them. For example. If i was in a plumbing shop and saw a slice for £8 I’d probably just get one

    Pipe slice prices

Yes I’ve googled lots and there is such a big range. I don’t currently charge anything as I haven’t had them made yet. I just looked on FFX and 15mm is £11.75 and then £4.49 delivery. I don’t know if they have shops.

    Pipe slice prices

I’m doing some research in to tool prices as considering starting my own tool brand and wondered what people think is reasonable price to lure them away from the main brands. So let’s say a 15mm slice and a 22mm slice, decent quality like a kopex, so not the crap that can be got on eBay. £10...

    Shower valve leak

Most spare parts are available. If you do not know the make and model of the shower which is very likely as they hardly ever have branding on them then you need to go on a site called shower doctor and submit photos. They will then identify the shower parts available. However the majority of the...

Can Can’t raise the floor as it will be too high where it meets the hallway. And I don’t think I’d be that accurate with a plane

    Reduce joist height

I agree with you ….. but it’s 3 years ago now so I wouldn’t be risking knocking them out incase the odd few screws went in to them. I don’t want to be repairing downstairs

    Reduce joist height

I’ve never seen a biscuit jointer used. Am I right in thinking the fence would sit on top and that adjusts down to 25mm and then it plunges in the side ?

Some of the noggins might have board screwed to them underneath. I’m going to have to assess the worthwhile mess of it all.

    Reduce joist height

The joists can’t be lowered. They sit on block walls and ripping down the ceiling def isn’t worth it. I don’t mind how long it takes upstairs as the room isn’t in use anyway.

    Reduce joist height

I appreciate I shouldn’t get defensive but it’s hard when you’re already stressed and it’s clear I was never going to get it bang on without doing both at the same time and knocking through 3 years ago. The engineered joists in the original house are 240mm which I measured through a spot light...
